22nd June 2011:
Messy Life's fist gig will be headlined by Holy Roar/Big Scary Monsters/Pink Mist affiliated Middlesborough band Rosa Valle.
'Mathmagician' is their only available recording (which can be found on www.rosavalle.bandcamp.com), this song shows more promise than a hell of a lot of other bands show after multiple releases. Its intricate and spazzy yet emotional instrumentation & howling vocals hark back to extremely short lived and much missed acts such as The Murder of Rosa Luxemburg and The Red in Sophie Loren. Big things are to come from Rosa Valle, & I'll eat my own face if they don't end the night with a complete (and very loud) bang.
