Hot Club de Paris gig reviewed in The Press

All three bands on the bill shared the accolades of the review by Aimee Taylor who wrote that the night had a "special energy".

Hot Club played, to a packed out Basement, a strong set filled with songs from Drop it til it Pops and their new EP With Days Like This As Cheap As Chewing Gum, Why Would Anyone Want To Work? and The Press's article claimed they were a "a must-see live band" and that their "happy pop tracks [made] the crowd dance until the end".

However the strong line-up of some of the top indie acts in York didn't go unnoticed either. Openers K!tes were noted as "outstanding as usual" and Hot Recruit "played an exceedingly passionate set that went down a storm".
