The Basement is part of the wonderful City Screen cinema complex, which is the central feature of a riverside regeneration project and the recipient of a Civic Trust Award in 2001.
The cinema has three auditoria and the largest is equipped to the prestigious THX standard. All screens have modern and very comfortable seating.
Other features of our extensive premises include an impressive café-bar with a terrace overlooking the river; the Sky Lounge, which affords panoramic views of the city; the Basement Internet Café and two art exhibition spaces.
