It's been a while since York has had the pleasure of a Hayley Hutchinson show. To date she's released two albums (one on Gut, one recorded by Iain Archer) and there's a new one about to drop this spring. It's bloody lovely, and a little bit of a departure from previous efforts. The music leans towards a more seventies pop sound in fact there is more music in general. I'm guessing Mr Sam Forrest Super Talent played lots of it (sounds like it!) as well as writing all the songs on this record. It's seriously lovely stuff folks. Hayley has always been in possession of a beautiful, beautiful voice and this album is certainly her finest to date. Buy it! And get Sam's while you're at it cos that's magic too.
