Mr H & Son presents Dry the River + Broken Ground + The Birdman Rallies
Fronted by med student Peter Liddle, Dry The River’s rattly alt-folk is a rag-tag mixture of Americana, gospel and indie rock; early collaborations born of a shared love of late 90s post-punk and prog. Counting gospel, Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Paul Simon as major influences, the band are currently the subject of a furious major label bidding war. Just like Mumford & Sons, it may not be long before DTR have outgrown this size venue, catch ‘em close up and personal while you can!
